Delusional disorder earlier called as paranoid disorder, is a type of mental illness that involves psychosis. The main feature of delusional disorder is constant belief in something unreal. In reality the situations are either not true or extremely overstated. People with delusional disorder can function normally and in general they do not behave strange or peculiar. In some cases people with delusional disorder may be so preoccupied with delusions which shall disturb their life style.

Symptoms of Delusional Disorder

  • A belief of grandeur
  • Irritable, angry or low mood
  • Highly suspicious about spouse
  • A belief of victimized, cheated, spied or tracked
  • A belief of serious physical abnormality
