Anxiety disorder is characterized by intense, persistent and significant feelings of excessive worry and fear. Anxiety is a worry about future events and fear is a reaction to current event. It is normal to feel anxious when facing a situation as a job interviews, exams or a blind date. But if worries and fears dominate an individual’s daily life, they might be suffering from an anxiety disorder. There are many different types of anxiety disorders such as: Agoraphobia, Anxiety disorder due to a medical condition Generalized anxiety disorder, Panic disorder, Selective mutism, Separation anxiety disorder, Social anxiety disorder (social phobia) , Specific phobias, Substance-induced anxiety disorder , Other specified anxiety disorder and unspecified anxiety disorder.
